Stayntouch Pay accepts a wide variety of payment methods, including standard credit cards (in-person or online), digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay), and global alternative payments (PayPal, AliPay, WeChat Pay). It also seamlessly processes regional and direct bank transfer methods like Bancontact, Blik, EFTPOS, Giropay, iDeal, Interac, Sofort, Swish, and Trustly.

No, interchange fees vary based on several factors, including the card type, the transaction type, and whether the payment is domestic or cross-border.

You can log in to your Stayntouch Pay Essentials Portal to access detailed reports. Specifically, you can review the Settlement Details Report for a breakdown of each batch, and your monthly statement will show the total of these fees broken out for the month.

Yes, Stayntouch Pay supports business for both DCC and non-DCC cards. Please note that there is no percent kickback for DCC transactions, and there is no difference in how the system handles business versus individual customers for these transactions.

The Pay By Link is automatically included on every confirmation email for specific web-based credit card transactions, such as those coming through the Stayntouch Internet Booking Engine. Additionally, hotel staff can manually generate custom “free form” payment links to send to guests via email, SMS, or QR code for individual reservations, house accounts, and group accounts.

Yes, once activated by support, you can configure the system to allow tipping via the payment terminal. When a transaction is initiated in the PMS, the terminal will prompt the guest with an option to add a tip. The total amount (including the tip) is securely captured at the terminal, and your staff can then manually offset the tip amount to pay it out to the employee.

Yes, when adding a credit card to a reservation via the Stay Card, staff have the option to authorize a specific, custom amount via the payment terminal, rather than relying solely on the default authorization rules
