What a week! We’re just getting back from HITEC 2017! This was our 4th year in a row showcasing at the event and it did not disappoint. Hosting a unique combination of top-notch education and the world’s largest hospitality technology exposition, HITEC featured more than 350 exhibitors showcasing the latest in hospitality technology products and services, had over 130 speakers, including four keynote speakers, for its daily educational sessions that addressed trending topics including: AI/BI, cyber-security, IoT, virtual reality, ROI, blockchain revolution, global travel trends, guest experience and more.
Every year seems to trump the previous when it comes to attendance figures and this year was no different. This year’s event, which was held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in Toronto, was the highest attended conference in its 45-year history with more than 6,500 industry professionals representing over 65 countries!
It goes without saying, we just love HITEC and we never fail to enjoy ourselves. We met friends, old and new, current clients and partners, potential prospects and colleagues and had great nights out on the town! And similar to previous years although our schedule was hectic at times, in-between meetings we did manage to actually have a look around.
